1 pav green peas(dried/fresh)
1 potato
2 tomatoes
1tsp coriander seeds
5pepper corns
1tsp poppy seeds
2tbsps coconut gratings
1small piece ginger
2 cardamom pods
1small piece cinnamon
5 red chillies(long variety)
6-8 garlic cloves
1 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Preparation time -15-20 minutes

Method of Preparation:
Wash green peas(If the peas are dried, soak them overnight, wash and keep aside). Skin potato and cut into small cubes. Cook peas with potato and tomato pieces in water till tender. Roast all the above ingredients. Grind them together to a fine paste. Pour ½ tsp oil in frying pan, drop masala paste in it. Cook for sometime (say, 5mnts) stirring constantly. Remove from flame .To the cooked potato-cum peas add salt, mix masala. Boil properly and then remove from flame.

The gravy should be moderately thin so that it goes well with puri and chapati.
